2016 IPS Winter School

You are invited to our second week Roundtables!

The second week of the the 2015 IPS Winter School is soon beginning and you are invited to our roundtables! The attendance is free and open to the public.

Roundtable – “Acting Politics: Democracy, Inequality and Contestation” 

July 07, 19:00 – 21:00, B8 Auditorium, Frings Building, 8th floor - PUC-Rio

In this roundtable, professors Kyle Grayson, Jef Huysmans, Vivienne Jabri and João P. Nogueira will discuss what it means to be political against our current background of growing global inequality and mounting frustration towards national citizenship as the sole mode of political action. 


Closing Session – “IPS: the next 10 years”
July 10, 17:00 – 18:30, B8 Auditorium, Frings Building, 8th floor - PUC-Rio

In this closing roundtable, professors Kyle Grayson, Jef Huysmans, João P. Nogueira, Marta Fernández, Roberto Yamato, and Isabel Rocha de Siqueira will get together to discuss the future of the IPS movement. What have we learned so far? Where do we head from here?
